A lot of people got a nice laugh from the pic above and the story that went with it.
Two years later, I'm in a similar situation - not pregnant, but now with an extra lil person.
I didn't need Jae to be strapped up this time, but I thought it would be nice to "re-take" the pic...

Seeing these pix together reminds me of how fast time goes. I remember snapping the first pic like it was yesterday!
That interests me - time and how it flies.
God is the creator of time which makes Him timeless. He is not subject to it like we are. He is over it.
But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 2 Peter 3:8
This verse helps me to see how something so constant as time can be so "variable" - how it goes super fast, but can also go super slow.
Being aware of this brings me to James 4:14.
For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.
In the grand scheme of things, our lives are like the vapors that we see when we breathe out of our mouths on a cold day: we see it briefly - very briefly - and then it's gone, forever.
With that perspective, how do you choose to live your numbered days?
